Alternate Substitution rule for Square-Triangle Tiling

 The following shows the transform for the opposite mapping of the square-triangle tiling.

The first picture shows, on the left, the original mapping of the triangles, and on the right, the alternate mapping of the triangles. In the second iteration, the 4 triangles are different. The diagram shows BT0 to BT2 and GT0 to GT2.

This shows the effect on the tiling of the squares S0 to S2.

This shows the effect on the hexagon formed by the 6 green triangles.

The following shows a fractal design based on the alternate transform, again leaving out the blue triangle. This is quite different than the fractal design based on the original transform.
